Garmisch-Partenkirchen as venue of the World Ski Championship and of Olympic Winter Games offers 40 km of varied slopes. The skiing resort comprises the three mountains Hausberg, Kreuzeck and Alpspitze.Not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen the Zugspitze provides the only glacier skiing resort all over Germany with 22 km of pistes with natural snow as well as a freestyle park.
