Axamer Lizum

Axamer Lizum is the “Weiße Dachl” (the white roof as opposed to the Golden Roof at Innsbruck) of the Olympic region of Innsbruck (1964 and 1976) and is located at a distance of 18 km from Innsbruck. Choose from runs featuring various ranges of difficulty and ski on well-groomed pistes with snow guarantee of more than 40 km length. The international community of boarders cherishes the popular center of winter sports, because it provides additional variety and a large multitude of rails and jumps, a Snowpark and a Funway, a racing course with a permanent training track and time-measurement. The highlights in the gastronomy section are the Café Restaurant Liz and the panoramic restaurant Hoadl Haus (at 2.340m) with 600 seats and a breathtaking view of the Kalkkogel mountains.
